CECIL’S 1 Proceedings volume is out!

We are pleased to announce that the online proceedings volume based on
a selection of papers from last years CECIL’S 1 conference has seen
the light of day.
It is now available at
http://cecils.btk.ppke.hu/cecils1/cecils1proceedings
or via the menu bar on the right hand side.
The bibliographic details of the publication can be found below, as
well as at the bottom of the proceedings webpage

We wish to thank the anonymous reviewers of the submitted manuscripts,
who generously provided their constructive criticism and expert
advice. A number of the papers in the volume owe a great deal to their
helpful comments.

CECIL’S 1 participants gave a total of 36 exciting presentations
(talks and posters) over the course of the two beautifully sunny days
of the event, of which 19 appear in the form of a paper in the
proceedings. Congratulations go to the authors of the individual
papers, who invested their time and energy in writing up, and
re-writing, their presentations given at the conference.

As the publication of the proceedings concludes the entire CECIL’S 1
project, we take this opportunity to once again thank the postgraduate
students of the Faculty of Humanities of PPCU who gave their hands
both before and after, and particularly during, the days of the
conference. Lilla Pintér deserves special thanks for making
arrangements on site at the campus, as well as for taking such
efficient care of accommodation matters at the dormitory. Dia Varga,
also a co-editor of the proceedings volume, has contributed to the
success of CECIL’S 1 in innumerable ways. Without her devoted efforts
the conference simply would not have occurred.

Last but not least, we would like to thank our main sponsor, the
International Visegrad Fund, whose Small Grant awarded to this project
made it possible to organize the conference and produce the present
proceedings volume.

We hope to see you, your friends and colleagues, and your present and
future students at another CECIL’S conference!

For the organizers,
Balázs Surányi
